Land of Lincoln Legal Inc. Gets $300,000 in Funding

Land of Lincoln Legal Inc. will receive COVID-19 relief money appropriated to LSC thorugh the CARES Act. The legal aid service — whose 65-county territory includes Calhoun, Greene, Jersey, Macoupin, and Madison counties — will receive $289,498 in Supplemental Legal Aid Grants and $17,500 in Telework Capacity Grants.
The COVID-19 supplemental legal aid grants will support their grantees in assisting low-income clients facing job losses, evictions, domestic violence, and other problems stemming from the pandemic.
