LSC鈥檚 Innovations in Technology Conference to Bring Leading Legal Tech Experts to Phoenix

PHOENIX, ARIZONA鈥擳he 成人抖阴鈥檚 (LSC) 23rd annual Innovations in Technology conference, the largest event dedicated to expanding access to justice through tech, will be held January 19-21 in Phoenix, Arizona. 

Nearly 600 technologists, legal aid advocates, court personnel, law school professors, pro bono coordinators and other professionals will gather to learn about technology projects being implemented across the country and internationally to promote access to justice and high-quality legal representation for low-income people.

LSC鈥檚 2022 found that low-income Americans received no or insufficient legal help for 92% of their civil legal problems. Nationally, 74% of low-income households faced at least one civil legal problem鈥攁n increase from pre-pandemic numbers. 

鈥淭he pandemic has spurred remarkable innovation in the legal services and access-to-justice communities鈥攅nabling remote work and online services has been critical to reaching people in need of legal help,鈥 said LSC President Ron Flagg. 鈥淭he difficulties of the past few years have also highlighted the ongoing need for creative solutions to expand access to justice for all.鈥

The two-and-a-half-day conference will offer over 40 breakout sessions on topics such as innovation in the pandemic, cutting-edge methods for delivering efficient legal services, emerging technologies like AI, ways to support pro bono engagement, cybersecurity concerns and regulatory reform.

This will mark the Innovations in Technology conference鈥檚 return to meeting in-person after two years of virtual gatherings. Several of the sessions will also be livestreamed on .
