Abigail Lawlis Kuzma was nominated to serve on the Board of Directors of the 成人抖阴 by President Donald Trump, and the U.S. Senate confirmed her nomination August 1, 2019.

Kuzma received a BA from the Universityof Wisconsin and J.D. from Maurer School of Law, Indiana University, Bloomington. She is the Halbrook Distinguished Chair of American Government at Taylor University. From 2009-2017 Kuzma served at the Indiana Attorney General鈥檚 office as Assistant Attorney General, Chief Counsel of Victim Services and Outreach, Senior Policy Advisor, and Director and Chief Counsel of Consumer Protection. She managed a staff of 100, including 36 attorneys.She was also the Co-Chair designee of the Indiana Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force from 2009-2017 and a member since 2005.

She was founder of the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic and served as Executive Director from January 1994 to April 2009.Prior to that, Kuzma was a subcommittee Chief Counsel of the United States Senate Judiciary Committee, and Legislative Assistant for Senator Richard G. Lugar.She has published numerous articlesandhas also presented in a number of Continuing Legal Education seminars in the areas of:Human Trafficking, Humanitarian Immigration Relief; Religion and the Constitution, Indiana Nonprofit law; Consumer Protection, and Foreclosure Prevention.

Kuzma was awarded the Indiana Bar Foundation Pro Bono Publico Award in 1998, the 2002 Indiana State Bar Association Women in the Law Achievement Award, the Christian Legal Society鈥檚 Christian Legal Aid Staff Member award in 2004, the Starkey Entrepreneurial Woman Award in 2005, the Indiana University School of Law Distinguished Service Award in 2006, the Indianapolis Bar Association Antoinette Dakin Leach Award in 2008, designated a Super Lawyer 2005-2009, 2018, the St. Thomas More Society Woman for All Seasons Award and a NAGTRI International Fellowship to study Human Trafficking in 2011, the National Sexual Violence Resource Center Visionary Voice Award in 2012, Prevent Child Abuse Leadership Award in 2015, and Indianapolis Bar Foundation Distinguished Fellow in 2016. Kuzma serves on the Shared Hope Expert Council for Just Response, former Executive Committee of the Women and the Law Division of the Indianapolis Bar Association, former Chairman/current member of the Indiana State Bar Association Pro Bono Committee and a member of the board of directors of Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic and Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault.
